Each unit includes assignable Can-Do Statements that help learners see a direct connection between tasks and their language goals in French. Learners can upload completed Can-Do assignments to their student portfolios to track progress, and when it’s time to assess their learning, they can complete differentiated formative assessments to prepare them for summative assessments.
An Integrated Performance Assessment (IPA) is a final project that evaluates students' language proficiency. At the end of each unit, students complete "J’y arrive," a summative IPA that assesses their skills in the context of a personalized cultural scenario.
Each unit is introduced by young native French speakers in engaging video blogs. These videos provide authentic insights into language and culture to reinforce important themes and topics covered in the unit.
